With heavy hearts, and with deep love and gratitude for the life she shared with us, we invite you to join in a Celebration of Life for Maria.
A devoted wife, mother, and friend, Maria lived in Dwight, near Huntsville, and carried her Belleville roots and her Portuguese heritage with her always. We gather to honour her memory and to hold close the warmth she brought to every life she touched.

In Lieu of Flowers
Peonies were Maria’s favourite, and flowers will always remind us of her. In her memory, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Hospice Huntsville.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play
If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with my remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
These things too I will miss
My life’s been full, I savoured much
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch
Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death
